My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: IA
I got into my first car accident. I'm 17 and do not have my drivers license only a learners permit. I was on my way home and I didn't see a stop sign because it is covered by tree leaves. I hit the right side near the back of the car who did not have a stop sign. I do not have insurance on the vehicle. I got two tickets 1 for no insurance on site at the accident which was about $800 and the other for failing to stop at the stop sign which is a little less than $200. My question here is what exactly is going to happen? And when will I know if I cannot get my license until 18 or 21.
