My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
Last week I went to Canada for about an hour and came back to the U.S with no issues at all. It wasn't until I was in Canada that it hit me that I wasn't supposed to leave the state and I went back immediately. I was literally there for maybe 30 minutes before I realized it and turned back. Whole trip lasted an hour.
They scanned my passport and didn't stop me or anything.
So I get off probation next week, and they said before they release me from probation they are gonna do a quick check for any Warrants or anything. Will they see that I went to Canada when they do this check? And if they will, would it be best to just admit that I did it? And if I admit it what's going to happen? Guys, I'm freaking out. Please tell me what to do.
