I have a Design Patent on the appearance of a clock face.
It expires in 4 years.
Can I submit a design patent application just before the expiry of my current patent, making subtle changes, but hopefully still protecting the concept?
Or, on expiry of my patent, if no-one else applies to protect the same design, can I - or a colleague - protect the same design again?
