My question involves criminal law for the state of: Utah
My friend was in US at the age of 17 as an international student . She was 18 when she committed theft crime and was ordered to appear in front of court. Since she just was 18 and nobody to consult her, she decided to leave the US and fled back to her country of origin. She's 28 now and is in Canada. Is she allowed to enter US again? If Yes, what are the punishment she has to go through? Any good suggestions to how to pick a lawyer in this kind of case? The most important thing, IS SHE ALLOWED TO ENTER US AGAIN?
