My question involves business law in the state of: IL
Hi All,
I'm considering creating a service business that helps broker merger deals among extremely small businesses in order to gain market share and reduce competition. Would this be considered a voilation of the Federal Antitrust Law? When I say small businesses I'm talking about individual amazon.com retail sellers for example. The businesses would be merging and there wouldn't be any price fixing, price discrimination, exclusive dealings, group boycotts, or tying contracts. The intent is to create a synergistic partnership that reduces competition in a niche market.
Thanks for your help on this.
