Loan Agreements: Dealership Canceled a Car Sale Due to Cosigner's Credit History

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas

After purchasing a truck 7 days ago, the dealership called and insisted we cancel the contract due to my co signer having insuffiencint credit report history. After giving back to truck I was able to get back the car I had traded in. After getting home from the dealership I noticed that my car had damaged on the rims, (didn't have this prior to trade in). I went back to the dealership and the contract manager insisted that I forgot about it and just consider the miles I put on the truck would compensate the damage to my rims. Then he started to threaten me with his ability to call his lawyers to have this settled. Is there anything I can do or any rights I'm entitled to that I am unaware of? I understand that dealerships have the ability to cancel a contract within 10 days of they can't find someone to finance the loan. I just really need some advice on how I should handle the damages made to my car.

Thank you in advance!
