My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Louisiana.
I was told by the DMV that my license was suspended for not paying a traffic fine. The ticket was issued by the city of Marksville, La I live over 300 miles from Marksville and have never even been there. I called Marksville City Court, Marksville D.A. and Marksville P.D. and no one is able to help me. They tell me the ticket number is not on file and I am not in their system. The DMV will not or cannot contact Marksville to correct this mistake, and Marksville will not contact the DMV I have made several requests. My question is, how could this have happened, how can I fix this issue, and will I have to pay a reinstatement fee for this?
