My question involves a marriage in the state of: North Carolina
I have a friend that had an affair in Georgia. Her husband found out, took all her money and has basically held her at home for months. He has evidence against her and has threatened her by trying to take her child away. Unless she agrees to move to north Carolina for a " fresh start". Once she is there for 6 months she is a resident of NC and the laws are on her side. The affair in Georgia cant be brought up once they separate right? Because she moved and he has condoned her actions right?
