I just purchased a piece of property by warranty deed. When the deed was signed over to me, one of the grantors said her last name on it was misspelled so the notary corrected it. Her last name ends in just K not CK but on their original deed, it was also misspelled.. I haven't recorded the deed yet and want to know what I should do. Have the grantors correct their deed first & issue me another or does it matter?
