My question involves criminal records for the state of: California
I had my 2002 convictions reduced/dismissed under prop 47 in the early part of 2015. I didn't realize at the time that the 17(b) would restore rights, but that the prop 47 would not. My attorney mentioned nothing of the difference between the two. I have not been in any trouble since the single incident in 2002 that resulted in penal code 487(a) and 484g(a). Is there a way to go about getting my firearm rights restored even though the charges were reduced/dismissed under prop 47?
