My question involves criminal law for the state of: New jersey
I was recently involved in a felony domestic violence case where my parent was the aggressor. A deadly weapon against me which missed and I managed to protect myself further. Because my parent is paying the rent and other bills in the home, I was basically forced to dismiss the case. My question is that is it possible to reopen this case? I also still feel unsafe around this person but have no place to go.
