My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA
OK. It's long, I'm sorry.. :(
Background! My ex and I were together for years and he was on and off with another female as well. So I ended up getting pregnant and he left me because he gave me the ultimatum between him and the baby. The other female harassed me the WHOLE TIME but I never did anything legally speaking.
I have multiple texts from them both stating they hope my daughter dies, hope she dies at birth, they hope I die, she wants to beat my ass, etc,etc. everything stopped around like 8 months pregnant.
He has only seen her 4 times in 7 months and he is a drug addict with no job. [i know, I know]. He stated in a text that he spends more than $200 a day in drugs, he is a registered drug offender and is on probation. I took him back because he PROMISED to change, shame on me, but I believed him.
So now recently his ex shows up my job stalking and harassing me and she threatened my daughter and said that she is going to throw the baby to the ground and beat me up.. I have this recorded as well.
Basically my question is- when I take this to court, is there a way to make sure he only gets supervised visitation because of his criminal, drug and violent history in addition to the threats of death and violence from both him and his girlfriend??
I have already filed a police report against her for her threats..
I just want to protect my baby from my bad decisions that she shouldn't have to deal with..
