Business Issues: What Are My Options if a City Ordinance is in Conflict with My Business

My question involves business law in the state of washington: So I provide a service to apartments, condos, real estate companies, and businesses where we place multiple directional aboards around and near the property or business to help drive traffic to its location. We just learned that there is a city ordinance that they started enforcing that only allows one sign per property/business. We are hoping there is a process or options to be able to keep are business running and to be able to continue to provide service to all our clients.
