Traffic Accidents: Uninured Car Registered to Business

I was rear ended by a car that is registered to a towing company, almost 2 weeks later I have not heard from the insurance company. The insurance info provided by the driver to the police was not correct. Found out the insurance company has not had them for over a year. The owner of the company has not provided my carrier with the name and only said he has contacted his carrier. Still have not heard from them. He originally wanted me to let his body shop do repairs and I said no. THen he says his insurance company wanted pictures so he shows up at my house unnannounced to tke pics. I caught him driving off, as he did not even ask to come by or knock on my door when he got here. He basically trespassed and I sent him an email saying insurance will contact me or send someone not you and stay away.

So do I now sue the business cause in NC he is required to have liability
