Yesterday, I got in a fender bender in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. I was approaching a traffic light, and was decelerating because the light was red. When the light changed, I started to accelerate and my car started to shake (I've been having lots of problems with my car) and so I looked at the speedometer. I looked back up, and I hit the person in front of me at about 10 mph. I've never had any interactions with the police (I've never been pulled over before), and so when I was cited for inattentive driving, I didn't know what to think. Would this be an acceptable case to contest a deferral/can I? Thank you for your time and help!
