Traffic Lights, Signs and Controls: Making an Illegal Right Turn

Sorry for this unrelated post. Just couldn't see the new thread button. Hoping this would get through.

I was cited with illegal right turn 22100(a). On red at an intersection, I turned right up to the leftmost lane (there are three lanes). Been doing this for a long time. Only now that I was cited. Please see pic. Thanks.

Your advice is appreciated.
