My question involves paternity law for the State of: (Indiana)
I am the mother of two children born during a married in which my soon to be ex husband is NOT the father of. They are 1 and 3 he has been a alcoholic for the children's entire life up till he was jailed in end of January 2015. He is wanting joint legal custody. This January arrest is the second driving while intoxicated offense. He also has major health issues such as bio polar disorder schizophrenia and hallucinations all which he was prescribed medication for but stop taking because it didn't let him drink as much. His name is on birth certificate but I want him to be removed and have no ties with the children. can he still get parenting rights with the children?
