My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Texas
My daughter was involved in a car accident where she hit a car from behind. She was given a ticket for following to close. The car she hit stated they slammed on there brakes to keep from hitting the car in front of them because the car in front of them hit there brakes and resulting in my daughter hitting them. She has never been involved in a car accident before or has any prior tickets. The car she hit had five passengers in it and they have all hired attorneys. My insurance company is saying I might have to get my own attorney because they can sue me personally. The insurance is in my name with her listed as a driver for that vehicle. I had full coverage on the vehicle. They all went to the emergency room including my daughter but no life threatening injuries. They were all released the same day. Can they sue me and what for?
