My question involves defamation in the state of: Pennsylvania
I had a tenant move out. Before she left i saw her on more than one occasion talking to various neighbors and heard her bad mouthing both of us.
When she left she left us a type written letter with the accusation that she defended my husband when people in town said he was a pedophile and i had lost many nursing jobs due to my personality. Both of which are false. My husband owns his own business and i have worked with as a nurse two of the people she had been talking to.
I think it is just that she is ticked off because we asked her to go live somewhere else due to certain situations while she lived there.
My question is....is this considered slander?
