Hello dear experts, i have very strange situation with my citation, need help to understand what should i do now.
i got cited for driving without license, but i had my international dl on me which was not expired (was told in dmv that i can drive with it as long as its valid). officer told me to go get ca dl asap to get it dismissed and i simply can send copy of my dl by mail to court (i live 300 miles away from court)
i called court few times, they can not find any info about my citation. in meantime, i got a mail from highway patrol saying that my court date is 6 days later then on my citation. Court clerk still ca not find me in the system .
so i am very confused now if i should go to the court, and if yes - when should i do it - on date i see on my ticket or on date i see in the mail from highway patrol? i got my ca dl now, so hope it can help, but still have no idea what should i do
