Discovery: Can You File a Motion to Shorten Discovery

My question involves court procedures for the state of: NJ

I know you can move to limit the scope of discovery or extend the discovery end-date, but are there any grounds on which a party may request a shortening of the discovery end-date? Can't seem to find any mention in the rules or case law.
