My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
Dealership sold me a motorcycle as new, but failed to disclose that they had reported the bike as "Stolen" 30 days prior to my purchasing it. I have a copy of the police report!
They also failed to verity that the vin number was clear on the NMVTIS. Which, some 8 years after the sale is shown under
Thieft Data as "Active" making the bike unsalable and putting me at risk of a felony arrest for possessing stolen property
Had I been informed the bike was reported stolen I would have not have purchased the bike.
To make matters worse I have been un successful in clearing up the title, making the bike worthless.
