My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Texas. My boss called me and told me the supervisor was termed and I was promoted to her job. I said great. Sad to see her go but thanks for the promotion.
A couple days later I seen they were interviewing for the position I was given. I asked him about it and he said I never told you you were promoted.
I said yes those were your exact words and he denied it.
The new hire has good experience but not as experienced as I and I had already been doing the job for several weeks. Also Im 50 and the new hire is much younger. Can I legally do anything about this?
