My question involves insurance law for the state of: California
December 2017 I was in an accident. was driving 25 mph w/freeway traffic and changed lanes legally. biker rear ends me at 65mph splitting lanes. I was insured w full coverage, biker had NO insurance. his attorney wants $500k for broken arm, pain and suffering. my insurance says he's not entitled since he's uninsured says i'm 10% at fault and offers 10% of medical. case is still on going.
my car was repaired and I sold my car because I'm working remotely now.
Will canceling my insurance since I sold my car, cancel further work efforts on the current case above and will I now be charged for legal fees from my auto insurance?
