My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Texas
When I was in the state of Arkansas I file for unemployment after being terminated and did not receive even after appealing more than once. After 30 days of employment I was able to file and got benefits through the employer that terminated me. Does the same apply in Texas, will be able to qualify after 30 days of employment with another employer? If so I was wondering woodworking as a driver with Amazon Flex be considered employment in terms of getting unemployment benefits? Being a flex driver is not working directly with the company, more of a contract worker I guess. But that count as employment?
