My husband is a window cleaner after completing a builders clean of a property that had be renovated he has been accused of damaging the glass and the builder is now demanding 7500 pounds to rectify the problem ! But the windows were installed weeks before completion of property, walls were still being rendered outside and plastering inside and all protective plastic covers removed and no provision made to protect glass in new windows while this work was carried out by the builder . We have not been contacted by the owner only the builder, no photos , no letters just phone calls demanding money from us and the threat of court action . Would be great full of any advice thanks
