My question involves real estate located in the State of: Maine
Hi All
I have a house for sale and there was a verbal agreement between all parties and the parties real estate agents on the price and closing date, He was supposed to sign the docs today but was not delaying in signing them, well tonight he said that a friend told him about another place and he wanted to look at that before he signs with us.
If there was a verbal agreement and there are 2nd and 3rd parties involved in hearing it and possibly confirmation emails ( I will find out tomorrow on the emails) can I hold him to the sale? or take his ass to court.. I had another house showing yesterday but cancelled it do to the verbal contract..
