Expectations for How Long to Wait for a Court Date

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Wisconsin

How long does it normally take to get a motion filed for a change of custody hearing? My domestic partner's lawyer claims the motion was filed back at the beginning of December but we still do not have a court date. Is there any way to verify that a motion was filed and when? Is this something that can be obtained from the clerk of Courts?
