Hello all,
I have been on UI since August. I went to a job orientation, where I didn't know the required time/hours or distance. After the orientation, I discontinued the work because I was not able to work the hours required of me due to distance. I don't drive and I am not able to arrive on time or stay until the evening. It was not possible at all. My UI benefits were suspended due to that 1 day of paid orientation/training and I was told to reopen my claim when I went down to the UI office today. Will I still be able to collect benefits?
