My question involves personal property located in the State of: NY
During the recent storm we went out multiple times to clean our sidewalk. It was fully clean but the city plows have a habit of coming closer and closer to the curb each time and pushing all the snow onto our sidewalk. I complained by phone to 311 last year about this. They did it again this year after we shoveled and then fined us for not shoveling the sidewalk. I even put a garbage can where the cars park to stop them from doing it but they broke my garbage into pieces and plowed it anyways. What can I do to win against the violation? I should not be punished for the wrong doings of the city.
