My question involves real estate located in the State of: W.I.
Built a house using my brothers contractor license, Did most of the work myself. Payed most the contractors in trade or cash. The property never had anything borrowed against it nor owed anything.
Brother is gone and left a 600,000 dollar judgement on a couple of his properties. The bank took back a couple homes. but not mine? The bank now sold out to another bank and i have no way of accessing the information. Im not sure what to do if i should hire a lawyer to see if it can be removed from that judgment. or whats going to go on with it. (A lawyer i asked said they will not be able to take it).... Im not sure. The properties he has are worth more than what he owes.:wallbang:
