Filing a Grievance: Is It Common for a Lawyer to Carry Contract Around for 7 Months

My question relates to legal practice in the state of: California my lawyer upon hiring did not give me a contract or an explanation of flat fee agreement .when questioned about that 7 months later ,because now im asking for a refund and subsequently firing her , she is claiming that i snatched contract from her briefcase WHILE SHE WAS TALKING TO THE PROSECUTOR and would not return it ,all the while not telling the bailiff what had just happen and to stop me ,not crying out your honor stop him .if i had just for lack of better term purse snatched her or had stolen something from her bag, wouldn't she want me stopped ,the bailiff is 5 feet away , shes talking to the prosecutor for heavens sake, yet she says nothing,, furthermore no one sees anything happening , because it didnt. And now saying i refused to sign it , i guess she typed one up afterwards , all of this for some kind of defense so she doesnt have to return any portion of fee.May i add also missed 1st court date ,,claims she sent replacement ,, i never talked or met this"person" also lied to judge that she was there your honor , i would hope cuz she can't find another lawyer to lie for her,and say they were there.I know a little confusing , thats what happens when lawyers lie.
