My question involves criminal law for the state of: Idaho. I was charged and arrested in 1996 with felony fraud in Latah county. While incarcerated, an extradition warrant was served upon me from the state of South Carolina. Applying for a job, I was informed I'm not hirable due to the pending charge in Idaho. I've been detained by SC law enforcement in relation to this charge several times, only to be repeatedly told Idaho isn't coming to get me. As of now, I'm questioning whether this was a tactic used too limit my job prospects or other form of discrimination. I'd appreciate any guidance and or assistance with matter. This matter has hindered my quality of life greatly.
