My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Connecticut
So Im currently going through a custody battle to get joint custody. My ex girlfriend already found a new guy within two weeks, apparently its someone she went to high school with. This male individual Has a criminal record and one of the things I found is that he was found guilty of larceny. I also found out that he is a chronic marijuana user and in pictures Ive seen posted on my exes Facebook account this guy is high as a kite around my daughter. I do not wish my daughter be around him, I think it would be in the best interest of the child not to be around the chronic marijuana user. My question is once I Have joint custody can I then have a restraining order against this male individual so he cannot be around my daughter.
