My question involves criminal law for the state of: north carolina .
I had the police come to my house asking about my boyfriend that is a sex offender. He hasn't registered because he is homeless and is having trouble finding an address. He doesn't live with me due to the location that i am living. he comes over to visit and has some clothes at my and some family members homes as well house. He also spends the night. Can i get in trouble for him visiting? Is he not allowed to stay out over night?
