My husband who is on H1b and approved I 140 lost his job yesterday. So he is in the 60 day grace period according to the rule that came out in Jan 2017. He had once lost his job in 2012 and had used grace period ( extension maybe, not sure) at that time and found a job before the end of 60 day period. My question is if we can utilize the 60 day grace period rule now considering the rule came out in 2017 and our previous incident was in 2012? Pls I need urgent help !
