My bank replaced my debit card (which has always and only for five years been attached to MY bank account). and mistakenly attached it to my husband's bank account (he has his own debit card on that account and at some point added my name to the bank account to make it a joint bank account. His name only appears on his debit card and my name only appears on my debit card. I have never used the joint account. This error was just discovered and has caused some HUGE problems. Is the bank liable?
