My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
Does the buyer have any rights when buying from a private seller? I bought a car last week only to find out that it has several undriveable problems that were not disclosed that were specifically asked about, most notably that the car was a salvage and the seller specifically answered no to whether it had ever been wrecked and his listing did not include any information about it being a salvage. I know buying from a private seller is always risky business but I did test drive the car and go over it with a friend before buying. It's not looking good in my favor, but just wondering if I have any rights here.
