My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Tennessee
I co signed a car loan with my daughter in march. She decided in july to down size and traded it in. The car lot still has not paid the trade off. She said they wrote the wrong vin number on the contract and they had to start over. That was around the middle of august. I want to add the trade took place july 18th. In september i applied for a house loan and got declined because that car is still on my credit and now showing over 50 days past due. I have called both companies. The car lot still hadnt sent payment. Now when i call they say the payment was sent but the loan company says they have received 0 communication from anyone besides me. What can i do? Oh and this is a world wide dealer, not a but here pay here shack.
