My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington
Hi,
I have trial coming up soon for a lane violation and I am told, and have read, the court requires motions in writing to be submitted 10 days before the trial. I am unfamiliar with how to structure these. First, I need to file a motion to continue, is this something I can do orally at my trial? If not, how do I construct this? Second, I need to file a motion to suppress the officer's statement due to vagueness/lack of detail and a motion to dismiss due to lack of evidence. Could anyone be so kind as to guide me on how to construct these? Perhaps someone has an old motion or a template I could work off of...
Thank you!
