I paid a private process server to serve my wife with divorce papers. I paid him the money but he has not sent me the proof of service and is now no longer answering his phone. When I called the first few times he would say that he'd send me the proof of service later that afternoon but he never actually did. The website seemed pretty professional at first and I haven't seen any negative reviews. Is there anything I can do or is it really that easy to own a business and rip people off?
