My question involves court procedures for the state of: Nebraska
A few years ago i was involved in a fatal car accident. I was in the passenger seat of a 2 door, uninsured vehicle and unlicensed driver (unkowingly). In result i was hospitalized for 5 days followed by bed rest for a month and physical therapy once a week during that month. I was placed in a leg brace, back brace & had to use a walker in assistant to walk... I was pretty messed up. There was a fracture in my spine. I still suffer from that to this day. There were chunks of meat missing out of my toes, foot and leg up to my knees. There are visible bruisings to this day. In result i was placed on prescription pain meds and im sure at this point you see were this story leads.. i became dependent of pain meds, like majority of people that went through traumatic events as such.
Nevertheless, im highly aware of the comparisons between heroin and opiods. However i have NEVER tried or even seen heroin a day in my life..
Recently i took a visit to the ER because i could not breathe, i also suffer from terrible asthma and after the situation also learned that the use of opiods can cause breathing problems and even cause a person to ultimately stop breathing. Well, in addition to heavy breathing i also had swollen legs and feet (i assume from dancing in heels the night before or lack of blood flow, idk) but certainly NOT from "shooting up heroin". There was tests taken and blood drawn. I was given 2 breathing treatments.. long story short.. CPS was contacted. The doctor from the ER stated that there were "track marks in my feet and legs, caused from the use of heroin" aka my wounds from my car accident were mistaken for marks from shooting up heroin in my foot (which ive never heard anything like before) & i assume the opiods found in my blood work may have been equivalent to heroin. Now my custodial rights are on the line for my child because of a false allegation. WHAT DO I DO???!
