My question relates to legal practice in the state of: Vegas
Last month my friend''s mother caretaker stoled (no proof) my expensive NEW prescription glasses. who is to pay for my missing glasses? Is it right to charge my best friend half? She already agreed but I want to know what is right. I already had 1 month of suffering due to this. Now I have to pay $300 again. bummed! It does soften the blow when friends come half way..after all it was her mom''s house. They didn't want to make a claim as the premium would go up and it is such a small amount. We have no proof that the caretaker stoled it. Since last month she was fired for other reasons. She denied taking them.
We thought it was my friend mother who has Alzheimers but we ALL looked extensively for 30 day and it is not in the home. The home is not cluttered and very organized, so easy to find things.
