My question involves paternity law for the State of: North Carolina. My wife has an affair and got pregnant. This happened all while we were sorting out our marriage and no separation agreement or divorce was pending. Now she says she would want to raise the child with me and our 2 existing children but he says he wants to be in this child's life. I cannot allow another man to interfere in my family's life as he has already done enough damage.
He is only 25 years old, works at a restaurant, does not have any assets, and his rich parents foot his bill. Would a termination of parental rights be something we could pursue.
