My question involves real estate located in the State of: Washington
I purchased a house in 2011, at which time the title company had a boundary survey done. It lined up with a previous survey done back in the mid 2000's.
A year after, a property that was going to have a mix used development had a survey done. Things were different, my northern markers were taken down and moved IN towards my house by THREE feet and a side boundary moved out ONE foot. Nothing ever came of that development being completed.
Today, a new survey was done on the SAME property, and this time, the north line was moved IN ONE more foot, and the side boundary moved in FOUR feet!
Each time all used the same medalions and a monument. How can they all be SO different within five years?! I don't even know what to do, because the one that came in FOUR feet crosses over my fence (15+ yrs) and wipes out my veggie garden. It also will mean I would be trespassing when I park my vehicle in front of my garage!
The plats here were done back in the 1800's and house was built a very long time ago.
