My question involves criminal records for the state of: TN
I went through the program and paid for my record to be expunged 4 years ago . So far I haven't had any issues with getting student loans getting an apt etc. however I have my life back on track and a recent 2016 graduate in health care admin. And just now starting to apply for jobs, will I be able to? Or will my past record hinder me. I am wanting to work as a caregiver or assisted living etc ( starting off) . my charge was in theft Over $500-$1000 and since I was a first time offender and in an abusive relationship ( at the time)... the DA approved the diversion program. Jobs ask if I have a history or convicted and I automatically select no. I'm pretty sure I will have to do the FBI fingerprint background check since it's health care. But just trying to prepare myself...
