My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Georgia. I am trying to get my license in NJ but there was a hold from Georgia from 1998. Georgia said ticket issued by SC while I had Georgia license. All they had was ticket# and from municipality of Newberry SC. I contacted City of Newberry, the county of Newberry, and SC DMV and none of them has a record of the citation. Georgia said they would clear it if I got a letter from the city of Newberry saying it cannot be found faxed to them but Newberry said they cannot without more info on the ticket, nobody has this information and I don't even remember getting it. Both places are saying to go to the other and meanwhile I am riding my bike 5 miles each way to work in NJ winter. Does anybody know what I can do?
