Creation: New Utility Easement. What Can I Expect?

Alliant Energy here in Wisconsin has approached me about an easement across my property for burying a new power line. Current service is provided by poles located across the street from me. My service runs over the street to a pole in my yard, then to a a 'pipe' on roof of my house and into my panel.

I received a phone call from Alliant yesterday stating that they'd like to talk to me about an easement as they will be relocating the power line to my side of the street, burying it, and removing the poles this summer. The representative also said to expect seeing a surveyor sometime in the next few months. After surveying is complete then they will be contacting me to discuss the easement.

I have no idea what my rights are with this, if any. Or if there's any room to negotiate anything. I'm not opposed to the work. But I'm not thrilled with the fact that my yard and driveway will be torn up for the season. I'm assuming that since I will lose the pole in my yard and my house will be fed with a new underground service, that they'll pay for that, as well as removing the unsightly service feed pipe from my roof.

Aside from that is there usually money compensation with these? Would asking to have the lower portion of my problem driveway paved for my trouble out of line? I'm not looking for a windfall here, but I'm not really thinking I should just hand them the keys to do whatever they want, either. I'm just looking for advice on how to handle something like this fairly, and within my rights.
