My question involves a child custody case from the State of: . husband kicked me and our infant out of house. I recieved a text at work saying it's over and had our child's items in trash bags. We have never fought or anything in my eyes things were slowly getting back to normal since we became new parents. This is so out of character of him and no its not another woman involved. He confessed to me verbally that he was depressed and suicidal. And I have it in text stating he was depressed. My attorney said I could make him get a mental evaluation since this all happened the day after bad news from a doctor and he has a high stress job and new father. So yes I want a mental evaluation done. He won't talk to me unless it's him telling me about papers blah blah blah not asking about our child. He hasn't paid a dime towards our child since he left. So my question is...since clearly I'm not telling him Im requesting a mental evaluation on him and my attorney said I could refuse to let our infant have over night stays with him can this bite me in my butt? I'm worried about whatever mental issue my husband has right now. He won't tell me why he is doing this to our family and has only seen our child 2 times in a month? Can anyone help me?
