My question involves paternity law for the State of: ohio
i don't know if you guys can help,
i asked this in another forum & they could not help,
but i will ask here,
if you cannot help just say so or say "this forum cannot help" i included all the info from the questions asked from the last place. i think...
can you disestablish a 9 year old acknowledgement of paternity affidavit?
background :
in a motion i brought in temporary orders, the mother orally asked for genetic testing, the magistrate gave an order for "magistrate's order for genetic testing" the order was signed by her lawyer but not me,the magistrate told me if i did not take the genetic test i would loose the divorce and temporary orders..outta fear i did..
but no one filed any motions for genetic test or a complaint "complaint to un-establish paternity of father-child relationship"
it showed i was not the biological father of the oldest child(this we both knew) the biological father was not around and could not be found.
no one filed a motion for relief of paternity
(The Child)
a few months after the child was born i started to think she may not be mine,i questioned my gf and she told me "it don't matter you signed the acknowledgement and knew it was final) i raised her as my own but searched for they other guy but only had a 1st name.
in the divorce a new guy i know is not the father comes along saying he is and didn't know of the birth of the child
the court disestablished my paternity using the dna test and using 3119.962
could this be done 9 years after the acknowledgement was final?
